We are a group of students studying MA Media and Journalism/PR at Newcastle University, who are working alongside local bloggers in Newcastle as part of our Multi-Media Journalism course project.

We are interested in exploring the blogging scene in Newcastle and the diversity of local bloggers offered in the city by getting to know each blogger on a personal level and engaging with them about their background and work.

We were required to produce a web-based multimedia package which displays all the different elements we have learnt throughout the year. This project includes a website, a personalised feature about each blogger, a video interview, in addition to photographs.

'NE1 Bloggers' main focus is the bloggers and their blogs. Therefore, through various mediums used, we hope that it will help readers learn more about the bloggers on both a personal and professional level. The featured bloggers spoke to us about their personal lives, how they started blogging, in addition to blogging in Newcastle and in the North East.
